2022 World Pull-Up Championships


The 2022 World Pull-Up Championships will be held at Viikin Monitoimitalo in Helsinki, Finland on January 22-23, 2022. Please note that unlike previously announced, the venue is NOT Wanha Satama, but Viikin Monitoimitalo located at the address: Maakaari 3, 00790 Helsinki.

Weighted Pull-Up (1 rep max) competitions take place on Saturday the 22nd and Pull-Up Repetitions (max number of reps in one set) on Sunday the 23rd. In both disciplines, men compete in seven weight classes (60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, 110 kg and +110 kg) and women in four (50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, +70 kg).

Our sport is under doping control and new athletes must sign the Anti-Doping Agreement by October 22, 2021 at the latest. Signing the agreement doesn’t cost anything and it doesn’t oblige the athlete to participate in the World Championships. If you have signed the Agreement before, there is no need to sign again. By signing the Agreement the athlete agrees that he/she could be tested at any time, both in and out of competition.

Registration is now open and must be done by January 1, 2022 at the latest.

The number of athletes is not restricted, so anyone can participate. Only the number of athletes from Finland is restricted to 3/competition class. Information to Finnish athletes.


Viikin monitoimitalo is a sports venue in eastern Helsinki. It is situated in Viikki, close to University of Helsinki, Viikki campus. See Viikin Monitoimitalo in Google Maps.
